   2 MLB rookies throw beauties on Monday.

 Arizona Diamondbacks' Ryne Nelson and Houston Astros' Hunter  both Brown each made their MLB debut on Monday

 Nelson struck out seven batters in his seven scoreless frames, allowing just 4 hits and retiring 17 straight in a row at one point.

 Nelson's stretch of 17-straight was so amazing that even he couldn't help but notice he was doing it.

 it was the first occasion in modern times when two pitchers made their league MLB debut on the same day.

 Brown needed just 79 pitches to get through six – he also retired the first eight batters he faced.
